Kung Fu Panda 2! Here's my take...

If you read my previous post, I have been looking forward to this movie because till today, I never fail to catch Part 1 whenever they re-screen it on TV... Even though I already know the scenes and pretty much the dialogues, the same funny line never fails to make me laugh!

Ok and here's my take on the 2nd, its not as funny as the 1st but still a good movie to catch with the little ones. Meaningful one as well, the part on finding one's inner peace... By letting go all in the past that is still hurting you till today and to enjoy and cherish what you have now that you have blindly failed to see as a result of focusing on pain from the past. Let go and learn to trust, to be happy... Words from Po, my favourite character. What a coincidence... The person I mentioned earlier in my previous post whom I said resembled Po said this to me before too...

Heard a song over the radio last evening and I thought it sounded pretty nice. When I paid attention to the lyrics, the song actually does have meaningful lyrics. 
The story itself behind the song is a true love story and it is a really touching one... He stood by her even after she suffered brain damage from an accident...

Too often we don't realize what we have untill its gone,

Awaiting Kung Fu Panda's II awesomeness. Oh, 2x awesomeness!

I cannot remember how many times I've watched the first but I know it never fails to make me laugh because Po is just too funny, way to funny. " I love Kung Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!" LOL. More so because someone I know resembles Po.

Seems like this 2nd episode is also packed with hilarious awesomeness and I can't wait! Opens this week and have promised to bring Pattywax (his niece) along. This baby girl has grown up so fast! She's 10 now!

Pancakes made with love... 16 May 2011

Woke up this morning by the clanks of pots and pans from the kitchen. Strange indeed... Kitchen has always been my territory. Rather, I am the cook at home, so, what was happening in the kitchen? Dragging my sleepyhead of out the bed, I headed for kitchen to play Sherlock...

Surprise indeed! He was trying to whip up some pancakes for me like I usually do for him before he's awake. Thought of the fluffy pancakes drizzled with honey and maple... Yumms... The bigger surprise came. Check out the pancake served. I thought it looked like prata... I never knew pancakes could look like that. It must really require some skill to be able to whip up such pancakes!

Still, it was an episode of an attempt of "Pancakes made with Love"... It put a smile on my face, even when I took over the scrubbing of the remnants of the cooking pan :)))

Oh, I did take a bite or two but he decided to throw them away in case we spend the long weekend nursing an upset stomach. LOL.
